ddPCR as the Source of Truth for NGS Reference Samples
Because Droplet Digital PCR (ddPCR) technology is highly sensitive it is frequently implemented to define target allele frequencies (AFs) in next-generation sequencing (NGS) reference materials (RM). However, data directly examining the concordance between these technology platforms is limited. This study compares indicated results for both ddPCR and NGS utilizing RM with AFs ranging from 0.1% - 10%.
